Share meaningful information about the organization with all employees. They will feel included and like members of one team. They will respond with loyalty and responsibility. You can trust them. Being part of a tribe is in our DNA. A positive cycle starts when leaders take the first step by trusting everyone with real information.    

The opposite approach is providing and sharing information on an "as needed" basis.  Leaders that share information on an "as needed" basis will find that this builds a culture in the organization based on this principle which can have many negative impacts to the efficient and effective operations of the organization.
