He has many startup and organizational experiences in government, non-profit, co-operative and for-profit organizations.
His for-profit experiences include experience as a self-employed Alaska commercial fishermen and vessel owner; founder and President of Silver Lining Seafoods and NorQuest Seafoods - a medium size Alaska seafood processing companies; board member of the United Bank of Southeast Alaska; Board member of the Anvil Corporation (an employee owned (ESOP) company specializing in oil and gas engineering).
